Overview

As a key member of the Media Team, I was responsible for creating engaging content for social media, websites, and promotional materials. My role encompassed designing, filming, editing, and collaborating with the owners and gym coaches to increase engagement and retention across all aspects of the Gym Business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Design:

    Adobe XD: Developed mock templates and assets for use across websites and social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. Established and created a cohesive brand guideline which allowed us to create increased content and expand our design team.

  • Filming & Editing:

    Sony a7iii Camera: Captured high-quality footage for promotional content.

    Editing & Color Grading: Utilized Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve to edit videos, ensuring professional quality and visual appeal.

  • Email Campaigns:

    HubSpot CRM: Designed and created emails to update gym members on upcoming events, changes, and new classes. Emphasised clear, user-friendly designs to enhance readability and interaction.

  • Collaborative Strategy Sessions:

    Participated in meetings and workshops to brainstorm ideas aimed at increasing lead generation and member retention. Contributed UX insights to align marketing strategies with user needs and preferences.

  • Website Management:

    Webflow: Updated and created pages to reflect new events, classes, and important information. Focused on ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience, making it easy for members to find and engage with content.

  • Enhanced User Engagement: The redesigned templates and assets significantly improved visual consistency across all platforms, leading to higher user engagement and interaction.

  • Improved Video Content: High-quality, professionally edited videos helped in effectively promoting events and classes, resulting in increased participation and member satisfaction.

  • Efficient Communication: The email campaigns designed via HubSpot effectively kept members informed and engaged, contributing to higher event attendance and member retention.

  • Streamlined Website Updates: Regular updates and UX-focused design on Webflow ensured the website remained a reliable source of information, enhancing the overall user experience.

Design and Media Content

Designed and created all the posts and advertisements for our social media platforms and displays.

Diagram and Infographics to help improve workflow and visualise our plans.

Updated and created new pages to increase SEO and updates events and socials and registration to our gym.

Experimented and designed our new merchandise T-Shirts and various printed media for the gym.
